"Designeureuse"
matali crasset is an internationally renowned designer.

Since her training at Ateliers-ENSCI in the 1990s, she has championed a design that intersects artistic, anthropological, and social practices. For 30 years, she has forged her unique path, enriched by the hundreds of projects she has undertaken in France and abroad.

She advocates for a design focused on creation, life, and everyday experiences. How can design contribute to communal living? It is from this both simple and committed premise that she thinks and works "in motion."

Her design, without borders or territories, reflects a deep conviction: the creative process is viewed as a human, social, and ecological project. The purpose of projects lies not solely in their completion, but in the process itself and the ability to foster connections, creating a system of exchange and reciprocity between individuals and the natural environment. The shared project thus becomes a common work.

Designer, lecturer (UdeM) and research professional for Ateliers Buissonnières
Maude Fafard holds a bachelor's degree in industrial design and a master's degree in applied sciences from the Université de Montréal. Launched in 2020, the Ateliers Buissonnières project enables up-and-coming designers to reconnect with materials and their shaping processes. The focus is on experimentation with glass, ceramics, leather, wood, metal and textile fibers. Ateliers Buissonnières demonstrates that experimentation, hands-on learning and multidisciplinary collaboration are true catalysts for innovation.
